I went here for my first time today, and it did not disappoint. The cheesesteaks were massive and delicious, especially for their price. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, it had a retro diner charm to it. The only complaint i can give is that it took a little while for the food to come out, but the workers were very kind and apologized for it. Overall, this place is great.
The menu is simple and the location is small but the food is great. I recommend getting a side of their cherry peppers for extra flavor on your order.

Pretty good cheesesteak not the best I've had. Bread is really good but not a lot of veggies or cheese, plus the meat was kind of bland and had to add salt. Location is in a nice little area. Recommend getting extra cheese and I wish I got the hot peppers.
You want the best cheesesteak? Forget about Pat's or Geno's... you have to try the cheesesteak at Gabriel's. I'm telling you, it'll give any reputable hoagie a run for its money. And if you want to take it up a spicy notch, get some of their cherry pepper relish. The Ypsilanti location is an old school staple located right off the main road. It's super small inside, seating maybe 20-25 people. The staff is always friendly and welcoming to visitors. Do your stomach a favor, make the trip!
The inside is clean and appealing and definitely has a ton of old school charm. The cheesesteaks are pretty good, I recommend getting extra cheese as I wanted my cheesesteak to be cheesier. I added grilled mushrooms which compliments a cheesesteak quite well. I didn't try it with hot peppers but next time I will give them a try with another cheesesteak.
Great hoagies. Definitely opt for the mushrooms and hot peppers!! Quick and clean. I'd maybe ask for extra cheese though!
